Tennis Fells Franklin & Marshall 9-0, Women Win 6-3

Orlando, FL- The Philadelphia University men's and women's teams defeated Franklin & Marshall in Orlando, Florida.  The men swept F & M 9-0, while the women took a 6-3 victory. 

The men were led by freshmen #1 singles Adrian Torroella-Cruz (Gainesville, FL/ Gainesville) 3-6, 6-4 and 7-5 and #2 singles Manoli Sgouros (Forest Hills, NY/ Holy Cross HS) 3-6, 6-3, 6-2.

The women were led by #1 singles sophomore Adriana Rodriguez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Colegio Sagrados Corazones) 6-4, 6-3 and #2 singles sophomore Daniela Rodriguez  (Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Menor) 6-0, 6-3.

The tennis teams return to action on Wednesday, March 18th vs. Chicago State in Orlando.
