Men's Tennis Shuts Out Bloomfield 9-0

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's tennis team (7-6) blanked Bloomfield College 9-0 on Friday afternoon in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) contest.

The Rams did not give up a single game at #2 doubles (Tom McAvoy, Seppi Hutter) or #3 doubles (Mario Bermeo, Eric Guerrero). PhilaU also got zeros across the board at #2-#5 singles.

Adrian Torroella-Cruz capped the afternoon with a 6-2, 6-3 win at #1 singles over Ruben Mora.

The Rams return to action on Sunday, March 29^th at 10:00 a.m. in a doubleheader vs. Post University at the Abraham J. Salaman '58 Tennis Courts on the campus of Philadelphia University.
