Bloomfield, NJ- The Philadelphia University men's tennis team (12-6, 7-0 CACC) won their seventh straight match en route to a 8-1 conference victory at Bloomfield on Thursday afternoon.
The Rams won every point except at #1 singles, where freshman Manoli Sgouros (Forest Hills, NY/ Holy Cross) dropped his match 6-4, 0-6 (6-10) vs. Ruben Mora after playing out of his usual #2 singles slot.
The remaining singles slots from #2-#6 did not give up a single game. Bloomfield defaulted at #6 singles and #3 doubles to give the Rams two free points.
The Rams return to action tomorrow (4/10) as they host Post University at 2:00 p.m. in a doubleheader.
