Men’s Tennis Bang Up Chestnut Hill 7-2

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men’s tennis team (9-4, 3-1 CACC) battled to a 7-2 win at Chestnut Hill College (7-6, 2-1 CACC) on Thursday afternoon.

The Rams were led by first singles sophomore Adrian Torroella-Cruz (Gainesville, FL/ Gainesville) who defeated Joe Boyle 6-1, 6-0 and #5 singles sophomore Eric Guerrero (Lawrence, MA/ Central Catholic) who picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win over David Negron.

The PhilaU returns to action on tomorrow (4/1) at home vs. the University of the Sciences-Philadelphia at 4:00 p.m.
