ITA Regional
Philadelphia, PA-This weekend the Ram's tennis teams competed in day two of the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) regional championships. Competing in the women's B singles bracket freshman Magill Kurts made it to the second round before falling to Goldey-Beacom. In the Men's B singles bracket both seniors Ryan Christopher and Manoli Sgouros both made it to the semi-finals but only Sgouros was able to win his semi-finals matchup.
In the women's B doubles bracket sophomores Isabella
Espinosa and Elizabeth
Verbits advanced to the third round before falling to
the duo from Chestnut Hill College. In the men's B doubles bracket
Sgouros and Christopher also made it to the third round before
suffering a loss to Caldwell College.
Next for Ram's women's tennis is a Wednesday (9/21) match against
Holy Family University at 4:00 PM. The men will travel up to St.
Thomas Aquinas College (9/25) for a match at 11:00 AM.
