CHESTER, Pa. – The Philadelphia University men's track team fought through the rain to compete in the second day of the Danny Curran Invitational on Saturday at Widener University.
Junior Eric Lacy (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) ran in the 1,500-meter run and the 800-meter run for the Rams. He started the day with a 24th-place finish in the 1,500 with a time of 4 minutes, 11.84 seconds. Later in the day, he crossed the finish line of the 800 in 2:02.26 to take 13th.
Sophomore Eric Przyuski (Audubon, Pa./Methacton) was the team's lone competitor in the 400-meter dash and came in 18th with a time of 52.444.
In his first collegiate race, freshman Patrick Lehman had the 30th place time in the 100-meter dash of 12.27.
Junior Corey Pedersen completed the 400-meter hurdles in 1:03.74 to take 19th place.
Junior Cody Borders (Hanover, Pa./South Western) was fourth in the 3,00-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:31.90.
Philadelphia returns to the track to compete in the West Chester University Invitational on Saturday, April 12 at West Chester University.
