Men’s track sets record in 4x1500 at Colonial Relay

WILLIAMSBURG, Va. – The Philadelphia University men's track team set the school record in the 4x1500-meter relay in the 50th Colonial Relays, hosted by the College of William & Mary on Saturday.

The team of  Zac Garman (Monroe, Mich./Monroe), Cody Borders (Hanover, Pa./South Western), Tim Malloy (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield), and Eric Lacy (Haddonfield, N.J./Haddonfield) completed the relay in 17:03.24.

The previous record was 17:37.7, which came in 1979 at the Colonial Relay.

Philadelphia finished 21st in the event that was won by New Hampshire in a time of 15:58.59.

Philadelphia heads to West Chester to compete in the West Chester Invitational on Friday, April 10 and Saturday, April 11.
