Softball comes out with its 2012 schedule
PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – The Philadelphia University softball team has announced the 23 dates that will make up its 2012 schedule, which gets underway March 6 at West Chester University, on Thursday.
After the twinbill with the Golden Rams, Philadelphia heads to Florida to play eight games on March 11-15 at the National Training Center in Clermont. The Lady Rams will take on two-time defending Northeast-10 Conference champion Southern Connecticut State and American International on the 11th. Two days later Philadelphia squares off with Lock Haven, a 2011 NCAA Tournament participant, and Bentley.
Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play begins for Philadelphia with a doubleheader at Post University on March 18.
The Lady Rams home schedule starts on March 20 against Millersville University for a nonconference doubleheader. The rest of the home schedule is against CACC opponents Concordia (N.Y.), Bloomfield, Nyack, Felician and Holy Family.
Philadelphia pays a visit to Bloomsburg, a 2011 NCAA Tournament team; Caldwell, the 2011 CACC champion; and Molloy, the defending East Coast Conference champion.
