Webster Now in 20th Place on University's All-Time Scoring List as Lady Rams Upend Felician

Senior forward Ashley Webster (Philadelphia, Pa./Cheltenham; shown below) scored a game-high 18 points, impelling Philadelphia University to an 85-53 win over visiting Felician College in women's basketball action on Saturday afternoon. All 11 Lady Rams who were available played in today's game and all 11 scored. The victory improves Philadelphia to 15-8 overall and 8-6 in the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) while the Golden Falcons fall to 3-21 overall and 1-13 in league play.
Webster, who now has 1,122 career points, moved past former Lady Rams' standout Valerie Ridge into 20th place, and needs just eight points to take possession of 18th place. The lone senior also notched two steals in today's game, vaulting ahead of former star Darlene Hildebrand '95 into fifth place on Philadelphia University's all-time list for takeaways.
In addition to Webster, sophomore center Jessica Romano (Horsham, Pa./Hatboro-Horsham) and freshman forward Kate Brennan (Stratford, N.J./Sterling) also found double-figures in scoring for Head Coach Tom Shirley, finishing with 16 points and 15 points, respectively.
Felician was led by junior forward Amanda Bartee (Jersey City, N.J./St. Mary) and sophomore forward Janelle Biamonte (Secaucus, N.J./Marist) with 12 points apiece.
