PhilaU’s Jess Romano Earns ECAC ‘Co-Player of the Week’

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University women's basketball junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham) has been named Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) ‘Co-Player of the Week' after averaging 22.5 ppg and a conference-best 15.1 rpg last week.

Romano was already tabbed Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) ‘Player of the Week' for her performances, which included a career-high 20 rebounds vs. Bloomfield. She is currently the CACC's leading rebounder, averaging 11.1 rpg for the season.

The PhilaU Lady Rams currently sit in second-place in the CACC South Division (15-7, 10-3 CACC) and will close out their regular season home-stand with three games at the Gallagher Athletic Center this week.
