Jess Romano, A. Brennan Tabbed CACC All-Conference
Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University women's basketball junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/ Hatboro-Horsham) and senior guard Amanda Brennan (Stratford, NJ/Sterling) have been tabbed 2009 Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference selections, as voted on by the league's head coaches.
Romano garnered 1st Team honors for the second year
in a row, as she leads the Lady Rams in scoring (18.1ppg) and
rebounds (11.1). She was recently named a Women's
Basketball
Coaches Association (WBCA) Academic All-American 3rd
Team selection for her work in the classroom.
Brennan garnered All-Conference 2nd Team honors for the first time in her career. The PhilaU sharp-shooter is second in the conference in free-throw percentage (89%) and third in three-point percentage (43%). She is currently averaging 14.1ppg.
