Lady Rams On Fire in 94-39 Victory Over Lincoln University
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University Lady Rams (4-3, 1-0 CACC) took a 94-39 home victory on Tuesday evening against the Lincoln University Lady Lions (1-9) at the Gallagher Athletic Center on Herb Magee Court. The Lady Rams combined for a season-high 94 total points, led by senior guard Amanda Brennan (Stratford, NJ/Sterling) who scored a game-high 21 points.
The Lady Rams led 42-19 in the 1st half and shot 50% from the field and 82.6% from the charity stripe on the evening.
PhilaU was led by junior center Jess Romano (Horsham, PA/Hatboro-Horsham) who finished the evening with a double-double (20 points/11 rebounds).
In the 2nd half freshman forward Christine Wooding (Northfield, NJ/Mainland) scored 13 of her career-high 15 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Sophomore guard Stephanie Agger (N. Cape May, NJ/Lower Cape May) scored 13 total points along four steals.
The Lady Rams came off the bench to outscore LU 47-14, and held the Lady Lions to just 31% shooting from the floor.
LU was led by Sharay DuBose with nine points.
The Lady Rams will be back in action on Thursday, December 18th at 6 p.m. when they host Georgian Court University at the Gallagher Athletic Center.
