Women’s Basketball Hangs with St. Bridget’s Elementary Team

Philadelphia, PA- The average age at the Philadelphia University women's basketball practice on Tuesday evening dipped significantly with a visit from the St. Bridget's Elementary School seventh and eighth grade girl's hoops team.

St. Bridget's Coach Bridget McLaughlin and her squad of 10 observed their first collegiate basketball practice and then interacted with the PhilaU women as they broke out into groups to talk hoops.  St. Bridget's then headed onto their own court to hold practice in the Gallagher Athletic Center.

The Rams will play their first post-holiday game on Thursday (1/6/11) when they host Georgian Court University at 4 p.m. in Gallagher.
