As a Junior (2007):
Tallied 18 goals and seven assists for 25 points in a
promising junior season cut short by injury...Woodland started and
played in 10 of the Lady Rams 14 contests on the season, the team
was 7-3 in those games played en route to the 2007 ECAC Division II
Women's Championship, the first ECAC crown in the program's
history...Named to the Philadelphia Inquirer/Philly-SIDA
Academic All-Area Women's Lacrosse team on May 11, 2007...Woodland
enters her senior season just 31 points shy of the 100-point
plateau for her outstanding Philadelphia University career.
As a Sophomore (2006):
Talented sophomore earned IWLCA/US Lacrosse second-team
All-North Region accolades, finishing with a career-high 30
points...Tallied 22 goals and eight assists to tie for second on
the team in scoring...Also topped the Lady Rams with 73 groundballs
and 31 caused turnovers while her 30 draw controls ranked
second...Registered a point in 13 of 17 contests for Head Coach
Christy Malone including a career-high five goals against Lock
Haven University on April 23rd...Closed out the season with three
goals in a 12-10 win over University of New Haven on April
29th...Named to New York Collegiate Athletic Conference (NYCAC)
Women's Lacrosse Scholar-Athlete Honor Roll while also being named
to Philadelphia Inquirer Academic All-Area Women's
Lacrosse team
As a
Freshman(2005):
Had a tremendous freshman season, starting all 16 games for
the Lady Rams...Finished the year with 14 points on ten goals and
four assists...Registered a goal in her first career collegiate
contest, a win over Mercyhurst College on March 4th...Outstanding
two-sport athlete led the Lady Rams' field hockey team in scoring
as a true freshman in the fall
At Avon Grove:
Lettered in lacrosse, earning All-League honors
twice...Also lettered in basketball where she was a three-time
All-League selection...Was also a four-year varsity field hockey
letterwinner for Head Coach Sandy Leiti...Earned first-team
All-SCCL field hockey honors as a junior and senior after being a
second-team pick as a freshman and sophomore... Also named Daily
Local first-team All-Area as a senior after being a second-team
All-Area selection three times
Personal:
Born July 21, in West Chester, Pa...Psychology major
Daughter of Richard and Jacqueline Woodland...Has a younger sister,
Emily, and a younger brother, Greg...Is also a member of the
University's Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as well as a
standout forward on Head Coach Christy Knab's field
hockey team.
