Caribeth Shappell Named CACC ‘Player of the Week’

Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University women’s lacrosse sophomore midfielder Caribeth Shappell (Lancaster, PA/ Cocalico) has earned her first Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) ‘Player of the Week’ honor this season, as announced by the conference today.

Shappell led PhilaU to a 2-0 week with 11 total points (6 goals, five assists) in wins over Wilmington and Holy Family.  The Lady Ram standout had five goals alone vs. Holy Family and added five draw and five caused turnovers in the two victories.

The women’s lax team returns to action on Thursday (4/1) at Wilmington University for a 3:00 p.m. match-up.
