Lax Midfielder Maurer Selected to IWLCA North-South All-Star Game
Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University graduated senior lacrosse midfielder Kathleen Maurer (Rochester, NY/ Our Lady of Mercy) has been selected to participate in the annual Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) North-South All-Star Game. The game will be held on Saturday (6/12) at 1 p.m. at the United Sports Training Center in Downingtown, PA.
Maurer will play for the North squad, coached by Molloy Head Coach Tom Campolettano. She will be joined by fellow CACC student-athletes Carley and Maryanne Glass of Chestnut Hill College.
Maurer- a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) All-Conference 1st Team selection- led the team with 73 points on the year and played in all 18 games for PhilaU. The Lady Rams fell short in the CACC semifinal game to Georgian Court University.
