NEW HAVEN, Conn. – Philadelphia University attack Taylor Peltzer was selected as the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) women's lacrosse co-player of the week by the conference office Tuesday afternoon.
In a pair of games last week, Peltzer tallied seven points with five goals and two assists. Peltzer netted a pair of goals in a 16-11 loss to Holy Family on April 25. Four days later Peltzer recorded a hat trick and dished out a pair of assists in Philadelphia's 13-11 road victory against Dominican (N.Y.).
This season Peltzer is leading the CACC and is 12th in Division II with 82 points. Peltzer's career-high 62 goals place her second in the conference and sixth in D-II, while her 20 assists rank fifth in the CACC. Peltzer is second all-time in Philadelphia University women's lacrosse history with 244 career points and 185 career goals.
Philadelphia is 8-9 overall and 7-5 in the CACC. The Lady Rams earned the third seed for the CACC Tournament and visit second seed Georgian Court for a semifinal round showdown Saturday, May 5 at 3 p.m.
