PhilaU Rowing Has Fine Day at Frostbite Regatta
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's and women's rowing teams competed in rainy conditions at the Frostbite Regatta on Saturday- held on Philadelphia's Schuylkill River.
The PhilaU men's college four was the top story of the day as the Rams took the race (7:18.01), just ahead of runner-up Colgate.
The women's varsity eight took fourth-place in their race, as Drexel and Lafayette claimed the 1-2 spots in that competition.
A bright spot for PhilaU was the college men's junior varsity eight team, which captured second-place (6:37.19), less than a second behind Ithaca's winning squad.
PhilaU will not rest as they compete in the Bill Braxton Memorial Regatta in Philadelphia on Sunday, November 9th.
