Men’s And Women’s Rowing Compete In The Murphy Cup

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men’s and women’s rowing team competed in the Murphy Cup on the Schuylkill River on Saturday afternoon.  The men’s V4 placed second in their final heat (6:39.85) losing to Colgate by (3.70).  The women’s V8 team showed up placing third in the final heat (6:57.01). 

 The women’s V2 placed fifth (9:16.30) losing by open water to first place Carnegie Mellon (8:13.41).

Other times were women’s V4 who placed third in heat four (7:38.54) and men’s V2 placing fifth in heat one (8:34.86).
