Women's Rowing Going to Cali for NCAA Championships

The NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Committee has selected the
teams that will compete in the 2010 NCAA Division II Women's Rowing
Championships.
The championships will be held May 28-30 at the Sacramento State
Aquatic Center in Gold River, California. Washington State
University will serve as host.
The team championship is comprised of four teams, and each team is
required to field one boat of eight rowers and one boat of four
rowers. The teams selected were: Florida Institute of Technology,
Philadelphia University, Seattle Pacific University and Western
Washington University.
In addition, two at-large Eights from institutions not represented
in the team competition were selected. The two schools selected
were: Barry University and Mercyhurst College.
In 2009, Western Washington won its fifth consecutive national
title at the NCAA Division II Women's Rowing Championships May
29-31 at Cooper River Park in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.
