Women's Rowing Opens 2011 Season

Philadelphia, PA- The men's and women's rowing teams opened the 2011-12 season at the Navy Day Regatta on the Schuylkill River on Saturday.
For the women, the V8 finished 17th (16:52) of 20 boats in the Women's Collegiate 8 final. In the V4, the women took 10th of 17 boats in 16:28. The men's V4 placed 29th (15:23) in their final.
Both teams compete on Sunday (10/9) in the Row for the Cure, back on the Schuylkill River.
