Women's varsity 8 finishes sixth in DII with runner-up finish in NCAA Championship Petite Final

GOLD RIVER, Calif. – The Philadelphia University varsity 8 team wrapped up a great 2015 season ranked sixth in Division II after finishing as the runner-up in the NCAA Division II Championship Petite Final on Sunday at the Sacramento State Aquatic Center.

In the team's final race of the season, the Rams completed the 2-kilometer course on Lake Natoma in a time of 7:32.458. Nova Southeastern got off to a fast start and was the race's wire-to-wire winner with a time of 7:25.050.

For the third straight day, the "Who's Yo Daddy II" contained coxswain Lynn Nemeth, bow Maria Soledad Gonzalez-Romero, Kelsey FairleyEliza BrooksAmy RobinsonRachael TobinusJulia HighamKelsey Zuch, and stroke Colleen O'Donnell.
