Women's Soccer Has Streak Snapped

In action on the road on Sunday was the women's soccer team, which fell at nationally-ranked LIU-C.W. Post, 3-1.  After the Pioneers took a 1-0 lead early in the second half, junior forward Stephanie Filmyer tied the contest at 1-1 just two minutes later.  However, LIU-C.W. Post took the lead for good, converting a penalty kick at the 71:35 mark en route to the eventual two-goal victory.

In goal, junior Sara Hall made six saves for the Lady Rams, who fall to 8-4-0 overall with the setback.
