Womens Soccer Draws 0-0 in 2 OT Tie Vs. Wilmington
Wilmington, DE- Philadelphia University women's soccer (1-4-1, 1-0-1 CACC) played to a double overtime 0-0 draw against Wilmington University (1-4-1, 1-0-1 CACC) to stay unbeaten in conference games. The Lady Rams outshot the Wildcats 27-5 over 110 minutes.
Sophomore midfielder/forward Sara Redka (Williamsport, PA/ Williamsport) led the Lady Rams with seven shots, while senior defender/midfielder Rebecca Kennedy (Forest Lake, MN/ Forest Lake) took six shots for Phila U.
In a return to her hometown, senior goalie Sara Hall (Wilmington, DE/ Wilmington Charter) had two saves through the complete game.
Wilmington goalie Kendra Ness made 12 stops for the Wildcats.
The Lady Rams will travel to Post University on Saturday, September 20th at 1:00 p.m. for their next contest.
