Women’s Soccer Hall, Vespe Named to ‘08 Daktronics East All-Region
Philadelphia, PA- Philadelphia University senior goalie Sara Hall (Newark, DE/ Wilmington Charter) and sophomore midfielder Natalie Vespe (Acto, NJ/ St. Joseph) have both been named to the Daktronics East All-Region team, announced on Tuesday. The Daktronics team is voted on by the members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Hall has already been named the Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) ‘Player of the Year' and CACC All-Conference First Team, as voted on by the conference head coaches. Her Lady Rams clinched the CACC regular-season championship, finished the CACC Tournament as runners-up and will be playing in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) championship game on Saturday, November 15th at 7 p.m., held at Saint Joseph's University.
Vespe earns the Daktronics honor after earning CACC All-Conference Honorable Mention. She is currently has a team second-best 13 points (six goals, one assist) and has seen action in all 22 games for the Lady Rams. The sophomore was also named CACC ‘Player of the Week' Honorable Mention earlier in the season.
