Riedell named to NSCAA Division II All-East Region women’s soccer team

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. – Philadelphia University defender Chelsea Riedell was tabbed for the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Division II All-East Region women's soccer third team Saturday.

Riedell, an All-Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) first team selection, anchored a defense that pitched 15 shutouts and posted a goals against average of .373, both ranked third in D-II. Offensively the junior pitched in with a pair of goals, both were game-winners against Molloy (Oct. 13) and Post (Nov. 1).

The Lady Rams posted overall record of 16-3-2 and a perfect conference mark of 12-0. Philadelphia made its first appearance in the CACC championship tournament final since 2008.
