PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- A challenging non-conference slate awaits the Philadelphia University women's soccer team as head coach George Dunbar announced the Lady Rams' 18-game 2012 schedule Thursday.
The 2012 season begins on Aug. 31 with a home contest against Southern Connecticut, a 2012 Northeast-10 Conference tournament participant. Twenty four hours later Philadelphia heads to West Chester—who went to the second round of the NCAA Tournament—for a showdown with the Golden Rams.
On Sept. 26 the Lady Rams have a road match against the University of Bridgeport—another team that reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
In October the Lady Rams travel to Molloy, the East Coast Conference runner-up, on the 18th and Mercy on the 24th.
Philadelphia kicks-off Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) play on Sept. 6 against visiting Goldey-Beacom. The Lady Rams take on Holy Family, the defending conference champion, in a rematch of the CACC championship match on Oct. 3 in Northeast Philadelphia.
On Sept. 29 Philadelphia welcomes Felician to Ravenhill Field for its Homecoming Day match.
The regular season ends with a non-conference contest versus visiting C.W. Post on Oct. 27.
