Rodriguez Doubles Falls 8-4 in CACC Championship Match
Philadelphia, PA- The sophomore doubles tandem of Adriana Rodriguez (San Juan, Puerto Rico/Colegio Sagrados Corazones) and Daniela Rodriguez (Quito, Ecuador/Colegio Menor) fell 8-4 to Holy Family's Willet/Borres in the CACC Doubles Championship Match on Saturday morning at Chestnut Hill.
The loss gave the Rodriguez team a 1-2 record against Willet/Borres this year, as they got their only victory in the CACC Team Championship earlier in the week, which Phila U. won. Willet/Borres defeated Rodriguez/Rodriguez in early September in a regular season match 8-6.
The Lady Rams still have a chance to win an individual title, as both Rodriguezs' will compete at 10:30 a.m. in the CACC Singles semifinals. If both win, they would face each other to make it a maroon and gray championship match.
