PhilaU Tennis NCAA East Regional Sites, Dates Announced
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University men's and women's tennis teams are going to the NCAA's after winning their respective CACC titles this year. The teams will travel to the NCAA East Regional Tournaments, dates and sites are below.
The men's team received the #6 seed and will play #3 seed Stonehill College at Queens College in Flushing, NY. The match will be played on Thursday, May 7th at 3 p.m., and the winner of that match will advance to Friday (5/8) to play the winner of #2 Queens vs. #7 Bentley at 9:00 a.m. The winners of that match will go on to the 16-team single elimination finals, held at Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida from May 14th-16th.
On the women's side, the #8 seed PhilaU team will play #1 seed Concordia College on Friday (5/8) at Bentley College in Waltham, MA at 2:30 p.m. The winner advances to Saturday (5/9) to play the winner of #4 Bentley vs. #5 Southern New Hampshire at 11 a.m. The winner of that match will go on to the 16-team single elimination finals, held in Sanlando Park in Altamonte Springs, Florida from May 13th-16th.
