Women’s Tennis Takes 9-0 Loss at Queens College

Queens, NY- A rough match for the Philadelphia University women's tennis team (8-9, 4-4 CACC) left them with a 9-0 loss to undefeated Queens College (16-0, 6-0 ECC).

In singles, #1 Isabella Espinosa stayed alive after falling in her first set 3-6 then coming back to take out her opponent 6-2. The tie breaking set would go to QC, 7-6.  

PhilaU suffered more setbacks in doubles. The #2 pairing of Sayre Limburg and her partner Elizabeth Verbits claimed two points in the match, but fell back 8-2.

Women's tennis returns for a CACC matchup at Philadelphia University on Tuesday (4/12) at 3:30 p.m.
