Espinosa Grabs Player of the Week, Among Six CACC Awards for PhilaU
Philadelphia, PA- The Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) awarded six Philadelphia University fall athletes for outstanding performance this past week.
PhilaU women's tennis rookie Isabella Espinosa was named 'Player of the Week' after winning three singles-matches last week improving her overall record to 6-0.
Sophomore forward Muzalier Gaussaint's dual scoring game, which included the game winning shot, against Goldey-Beacom netted him 'Rookie of the Week'.
The CACC 'Female Runner of the Week' was awarded to PhilaU junior Sarah Simonetti who placed first in the Philadelphia Metro Championship with a time of 20:12:41. PhilaU also picked up the 'Male Rookie of the Week' award with freshman Noah Hutton finishing ninth overall in 29:16:73.
Also receiving 'Honorable Mention' were men's soccer sophomore midfielder Sean Crossland and women's tennis senior Daniela Rodriguez.
