2010 Women’s Tennis Highlights
Philadelphia, PA- Women's tennis closed the 2010 season with an overall record of 7-6 and a CACC record of 4-4. Key matchups for the Rams included a 6-3 victory over University of the Sciences (9/14) and a 9-0 shutout over Post University in their final match of the regular season (10/16). This was the second season under head coach Cha Goods.
Top performers for the Rams this season included freshman Isabella Espinosa who finished with an overall record of 11-2 in singles and 5-1 in doubles with her partner, junior Brittany Villa. Espinosa was named 'Rookie of the Year' by the CACC. She had already been named 'Rookie of the Week' (9/13) and 'Player of the Week' (9/27) by the conference this season.
Senior Daniela Rodriguez also had an 11-2 record for the 2010 season winning her last six matches in a row. She was a two-time CACC Honorable Mention (9/27, 10/18) this year.
