PHILADELPHIA – The Jefferson (Philadelphia University + Thomas Jefferson University) women's tennis team recently released its 2017 fall slate. Third-year head coach Zach Elbin will lead the Rams into the 2017-18 season, which begins on Saturday, Sept. 9 at Concordia.
The Rams' fall schedule contains 14 dual matches including nine of which are at home.
The season begins on the road with Concordia and then Holy Family on Monday, Sept. 11. From there, the Rams are home against Shippensburg, Goldey-Beacom, Saint Thomas Aquinas and Millersville from Sept. 16-26.
An away match on Wednesday, Sept. 27 at Chestnut Hill comes before the final matches of the month at home against Molloy and USciences on Sept. 29 and 30.
October sees five matches before the CACC Championships. The month begins with Caldwell on Oct. 3 and Cabrini on Oct. 5, both on the road. The Rams then close out the fall slate with matches at home against Post on Oct. 7, Chestnut Hill on Oct. 11 and Wilmington on Oct. 14. Saturday, October 7 will also be the school's homecoming Day on campus.
First round actions of the CACC Championship begins on Tuesday, Oct. 17. The CACC semifinals and finals are set at Post University in Waterbury, Conn. on Friday, Oct. 20 and Saturday, Oct. 21.
