2008 CACC Volleyball All-Tournament Team
Last Season (2007):
Third-year standout led the Lady Rams in blocks with
115 -- the second-best single-season total in school
history...Appeared in all 37 matches including team-high 35
starts...Finished fourth on the team in kills with 258 while also
contributing 72 digs...Recorded a season-high 18 kills in victory
over Wilmington University on October 4th...Registered double-digit
kills in seven matches...Named to the CACC Championship
All-Tournament team as well as the CACC Fall All-Academic
Team...Enters her senior season with a school-record 288 career
blocks while her 690 career kills rank fifth all-time. Was also
named to Spring '08 Academic Honor Roll...
As a Sophomore (2006):
Put together a solid sophomore campaign, showing no
signs of a sophomore slump...Finished with 191 kills to rank fourth
on the team while her 93 blocks ranked second...Also contributed 62
digs, 19 assists and 15 service aces...In just two seasons with the
program, ranks third all-time with 173 career blocks and eighth
all-time with 432 career kills...Tied fellow sophomore Molly Malone
for the top attack percentage on the team at .288...Registered
double-digit kills in six matches including a season-high 13 on two
occasions...Set a career-high with 11 assists in a loss at Georgian
Court University on September 14th.
As a Freshman (2005):
Outstanding freshman finished with 241 kills and 58
digs for Head Coach Mark Magarity...Led the Lady Rams with 51
service aces, which is tied for the second-best single-season total
in school history...Also registered 80 blocks, to rank second on
the team and fourth in school history in a season...Appeared in 29
of 35 matches for the Lady Rams, making nine starts in helping the
team to it's first-ever postseason berth...Posted double-digit
kills in 14 of 29 matches played, including six of the team's final
seven...In the 2006 ECAC Division II Women's Volleyball
Championship, finished with 13 kills and five blocks in leading the
Lady Rams past second-seeded LIU-C.W. Post for the title on
November 20th.
At DeKalb:
Three-year varsity letterwinner for Head Coach Julie
Craven...Earned honorable mention All-Conference honors as a
senior...Was also a three-time Academic All-Conference selection...
Played club volleyball for Coach Rebecca Deering for Club
