Volleyball Gets Two CACC Wins, Extends Win Streak to Four

Philadelphia, PA-The Philadelphia University volleyball squad (15-9, 10-3 CACC) got two CACC wins on Saturday, the team knocked off both Dominican College (0-23, 0-13 CACC) and University of the Sciences (9-15, 7-6 CACC) 3-0.

Set scores vs. Dominican were 25-15, 25-16 and 25-14. Scores vs. USP were 25-16, 25-17 and 25-17.

Senior Molly Malone (Rochester, NY/ Gates Chili) had 17 kills and 23 digs and junior Nicole Berkstresser (Bridgewater, NJ/ Bridgewater-Raritan) had 17 kills and 34 digs to lead the Lady Rams. Junior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/Tom C. Clark) added 11 kills and 32 digs.

Sophomore setter Lauren Hoover (New Baltimore, MI/ Anchor Bay) had 31 assists for the Lady Rams.

The team will head to USP for their second CACC match-up on Tuesday, October 28^th at 7:00 p.m.
