Volleyball Sweeps Phila Biblical, Alvernia on Saturday

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team (6-7, 2-1 CACC) continued their winning ways with two victories at the Philadelphia Biblical University Invitational on Saturday. 

Against Philadelphia Biblical the Lady Ram's avenged a loss just over a week ago.  Scores were 25-16, 25-15, 23-25 and 25-14.  Junior Nicole Berkstresser (Bridgewater, NJ/ Bridgewater-Raritan) led the team with 11 kills, and junior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) added eight.  Sophomore setter Lauren Hoover (New Baltimore, MI/ Anchor Bay) had 19 assists, while junior Natalie Amodei (West Chester, PA/ Bishop Shanahan) totaled 15 digs.
