Volleyball Wins 10th Straight in 3-0 Sweeps of Phila Biblical, Alvernia

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's volleyball team (10-1, 1-0 CACC) won their ninth and 10^th straight matches with 3-0 victories over both Philadelphia Biblical (4-4) and Alvernia (0-7) on Saturday afternoon.

Set scores vs. Phila Biblical were: 25-20, 25-13 and 25-10. Set scores vs. Alvernia were: 25-8, 25-14 and 25-9.

Against PBU, senior Cindy Adams (Fleetwood, PA/ Fleetwood) led PhilaU with five kills and 11 digs. Senior Celena Rendon (San Antonio, TX/ Tom C. Clark) added three kills and nine digs.

The Lady Rams return to action on Tuesday (9/15) at Wilmington at 7 p.m. for a CACC contest.
