Leanna Lillge Named CACC 'Rookie of the Year'
Philadelphia, PA – The CACC has chosen Philadelphia University rookie outside-hitter Leanna Lillge as the ‘Rookie of the Year’ for 2010. Lillge was then named to the 2010 All-CACC Volleyball Second Team.
The freshman, who came to Philadelphia University from Ixonia, WI, made a huge impact in her opening year. She currently holds the team high kills at 315 averaging 3.32 kills per game. Her 372 digs overall are also the team high. She made appearances in all 95 games over 27 matches including the post season.
This is not the first time that Lillge has been recognized by the conference. She made CACC ‘Rookie of the Week’ four times this season 9/6, 9/13, 10/11 and 10/25.
