PhilaU Volleyball Sweeps Phila. Biblical 3-0

PHILADELPHIA, Pa.- The Philadelphia University Rams volleyball team (13-11, 9-5 CACC) made quick work of the Philadelphia Biblical University Crimson Eagles in three straight sets tonight at the Gallagher Athletic Center. Set scores were: 25-20, 25-21, and 25-9. The victory is the team’s second straight.

Offensively for the Rams, junior middle hitter Ellie Edgar led the team with 11 kills on the night. Sophomore Brittany Olson finished with nine kills and junior Danielle Carney completed eight kills.

Also for the Rams, freshman Lauren Elliott had three service aces on the night. Sophomore Heather Martin had 21 assists in the match and senior Adrienne Stigura finished with 16. 

Defensively for PhilaU, junior Morgan McCarthy led all players with a game-high 19 digs. Olson tallied 10 digs in the match.

PhilaU travels to Dominican College for a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday (10/22) at noon.
