PhilaU Volleyball Remains Red-Hot; Defeat Georgian Court 3-0

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (16-11, 11-5 CACC) dominated Georgian Court University in three straight sets tonight, winning their fifth match in a row. Set scores were: 25-17, 25-16, and 25-21.

Offensively for PhilaU, sophomore outside hitter Brittany Olson led the team with 10 kills. Freshman middle hitter Terra Ecker tallied eight kills on the night. Senior setter Adrienne Stigura had 16 assists in the match, and sophomore setter Heather Martin tacked on nine helpers. Junior middle hitter Ellie Edgar knocked down three service aces against Georgian Court. 

Defensively, Olson led all Rams players with 13 digs. Martin and Stigura finished with six digs respectively.  Overall, it was another dominating performance by the PhilaU Rams.

The Rams look to stay hot as they travel to USciences next Tuesday (11/1) at 7 p.m. to take on the Devils.
