Holy Family Snaps PhilaU Volleyball Win Streak At Three Games, 3-0
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women’s volleyball team (9-8, 6-4 CACC) fell to Holy Family University in three straight sets, snapping their streak of three straight wins. Senior outside hitter Emma Claffy led the Rams with five kills on the night. Holy Family’s Sarah Ambach finished with a game-high 10 kills.
Set scores were: 17-25, 18-25, and 13-25.
Defensively for the Rams, junior setter Morgan McCarthy led the team with 10 digs, and senior Adrienne Stigura finished with eight digs. Jordan Beland of Holy Family led all players with 14 digs on the evening.
PhilaU takes on Concordia College on Saturday (10/8) at 12:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Athletic Center.
