Rams Dominate In 3-0 Win Against Concordia
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (10-8, 7-4 CACC) defeated Concordia College in three straight sets today at the Gallagher Athletic Center. The charge was led by junior outside hitter Danielle Carney, who tallied a team-high nine kills for the Rams. Sophomore outside hitter Brittany Olson finished with eight kills on the day.
Set scores were: 25-18, 25-11, and 25-20.
Defensively for PhilaU, junior libero/setter Morgan McCarthy completed a game-high 15 digs. Danielle Carney finished with 12 digs. Collectively, the Rams finished with nine blocks on the afternoon.
PhilaU looks to ride the momentum as they take on Wilmington University this Tuesday (10/11) at 6:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Athletic Center.
