Volleyball Comes From Behind In Win Against Chestnut Hill
Philadelphia, PA- After finding themselves in a 2-0 hole, the Rams (3-5) won three straight sets against Chestnut Hill College (5-5) to take the victory. The win snaps a four-game losing skid for the Rams, and gives them their first conference win of the season.
Set scores were: 25-27, 21-25, 25-20, 25-16, and 15-12.
The Rams were led by junior outside hitter Ellie Edgar with 13 kills on the night. Freshman middle hitter Terra Ecker and senior outside hitter Rebekah Waybrant added 10 kills each for the Rams. Defensively, PhilaU picked up 30 digs from Rebekah Waybrant and 26 digs from junior libero/defensive specialist Morgan McCarthy.
Chestnut Hill was led by game-high killer Alex DePalma, who had 16
kills, and defensively by Liz DiGregorio with 27 digs.
PhilaU looks to carry the momentum as they travel to Bloomfield College on Saturday (9/17). The match begins at 12:00 p.m.
