Volleyball Rides Momentum to 3-1 Win over Molloy

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University volleyball team (1-0) opened the season with a 3-1 win over Molloy College (0-1) on Friday evening at the Gallagher Athletic Center.

Set scores were: 25-21, 25-22, 13-25, 28-26.

The Rams were led by 11 kills each from sophomores Brittany Olson (17 digs) and Jordan Milligan. Defensively, PhilaU picked up 25 digs from junior Danielle Carney.

MC was led by game-high killer Angelica Nicalek, and defensively by Stefanie Koelbel with 35 digs.

PhilaU will travel to Kutztown University for their next match on Wednesday (9/7) at 7 p.m.
