PhilaU Volleyball Falls To Wilmington 3-0

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women’s volleyball team (5-6, 3-2 CACC) lost to Wilmington University in three straight sets, snapping their streak of 3 straight wins. Sophomore Brittany Olson led the Rams with 9 kills on the evening. Wilmington University’s Nicole Wiechecki led all players with 14 kills.

                       
Set scores were: 19-25, 21-25, and 21-25.

Defensively for the Rams, junior outside hitter Danielle Carney led the team with 10 digs, and senior Rebekah Waybrant finished with 9 digs. Nicole Wiechecki led all players with 19 digs.

The Rams look to bounce back from a tough loss tomorrow night (9/23) in front of the home crowd as they take on East Stroudsburg University at 7:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
