PhilaU Volleyball Downed By Post 3-2
Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women’s volleyball team (6-7, 3-3 CACC) fell to Post University 3-2 earlier today. The loss is the team’s fourth on the road this season. Both teams were evenly matched, but PhilaU could not pull through with a victory. Senior Emma Claffy led the team with 12 kills on the day, and junior Ellie Edgar had 10 kills. Post University's Belinda Snider finished the match with a game-high 17 kills.
Set scores were: 17-25, 25-16, 25-27, 29-27, and 12-15.
Defensively for the Rams, senior Rebekah Waybrant led the team with 23 digs. Sophomore Brittany Olson finished with 19 digs on the day for the Rams. Post University's Courtney Braun had a game-high 33 digs. Emily Wilman of Post recorded 24 digs.
The Rams look to bounce back Tuesday (9/27) as they host Goldey-Beacom College at 7:00 p.m. in the Gallagher Center.
