PhilaU Volleyball Outlasts Dominican 3-1
ORANGEBURG, N.Y. - The Philadelphia University Rams volleyball team (14-11, 10-5 CACC) defeated the Dominican College Chargers 3-1 in a Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference match Saturday afternoon. Set scores were 20-25, 30-28, 25-17, and 25-23. The win is the team’s third straight victory.
Offensively for the Rams, junior outside hitter Danielle Carney completed a team-high 15 kills in the match. Sophomore middle hitter Jordan Milligan finished with nine kills. Sophomore setter Heather Martin knocked in three service aces and tallied 38 assists on the day for the Rams.
For the Rams, junior libero/setter Morgan McCarthy led all players on the team with 30 digs. Carney finished with 20 digs in the match.
The Rams look to continue their winning ways as they travel to Goldey-Beacom University Tuesday (10/25) for a 7 p.m. start time.
