Women’s XC Stays At #10 in the East Region Rankings

Philadelphia, PA- The Philadelphia University women's cross country team remains the #10 ranked team by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCCA) east region poll this week after running away with the Goldey-Beacom Invitational title over the weekend.

The Lady Rams are the only Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) team to receive a spot in the east region poll, along with the only NCAA Division II team in Philadelphia to get the nod.

Freshman CACC Rookie of the Week Gabrielle Dei Tos (Freeland, PA/ MMI Prep) led the Lady Ram squad at Goldey-Beacom, as she finished fifth overall in the 5K (20:45).  Other top finishers included sophomore Kaitlin O'Leary (Marlton, NJ/ Cherokee) in eighth-place and freshman Faith Anderson (Dover, PA/ Dover) in the nine spot. 

Phila U. will compete in the Cabrini Invitational this weekend (Saturday, October 11th), the women will start at 12:00 p.m. and the men at 12:35 p.m.
