PhilaU Cross Country Competes at East Regional’s
Boston, MA – The Philadelphia University men's and women's cross country teams competed at the 2010 Eastern Regional's in Franklin Park in Boston, MA Sunday (11/21). Women's team took sixth overall while the men came in 12th.
Junior Sarah Simonetti placed ninth overall in the women's 6K race with a final time of 23:08. She was then followed by junior Angelica DiNucci at 23:33 claiming the 12th spot. Both Simonetti and DiNucci were named to the 2010 All Region Team.
The men's team was led by junior Tyler Dye who came in 44th place (33:24) with sophomore Kip Kirui coming right behind him in 51st place (33:38).
Stonehill College claimed first place in the women's race while the University of Massachusetts Lowell, who was the event's host, took first in the men's race.
